When staff at our Durham Hire Centre had the chance of a late night on the town their thoughts may have been on enjoying a party in the North East.
Whilst Geordie revellers were out in force in Newcastle city centre, staff from Elliott Hire Durham Hire Centre were busy finalising a double stack installation of 24 Executive Range cabins that needed utmost precision.
With a road closure, very severe restrictions for unloading cabins from the delivery vehicles, space needed for a mobile crane and severe lack of space in which the installation team could work, the project was completed within the confinement of the site that allowed just 150mm of tolerance.
The project needed some extra care and attention to ensure a smooth completion but thanks to the skills of a very experienced team, the installation was completed at 2 o’clock in the morning all to the customer’s satisfaction.
The cabins are being hired for 120 weeks by Tolent Construction for the project at Newcastle library.
