How many different building sizes can I choose from?
Elliott Hire have a wide range of buildings to accommodate one person or a workforce of thousands. On a project at Grangemouth refinery, Elliott Hire supplied adequate space to accommodate over 1000 men for a temporary period.
Do you supply heating in the offices?
Every office is supplied with a thermostatically controlled electric convector heater. This allows you to leave the heating on during cold spells to maintain a constant temperature.
Do you offer discounts?
Discounts may be available for longer term hires and multiple users.
We don't have much room on our site. What should we do?
If you feel the space available to you on your site is restricted, one of our specialist team will arrange to meet you on site to offer the best advice.
Do we have to insure Elliot Hire products while they are on hire?
It is the hirers responsibility to insure Elliott Hire products against all risks whilst on your site or the site on which they were delivered. However, to make sure you're not at risk consider our Damage Waiver Scheme that provides a low cost alternative to insurance and completely eliminates the possibility of heavy damage charges. What ground preparation do we need to carry out?
As well as ensuring unrestricted access to your site most products can be delivered on reasonably well consolidated level ground. For double stacked buildings a level hard standing should be prepared. For modular buildings please contact us for further advice.
Will Elliott HIre deliver to our site?
We run a large fleet of lorries throughout the UK supported by selected haulage contractors that meet our strict codes of practice. Each vehicle is equipped with facilities that allow most building sizes to be off-loaded alongside the vehicle. Many of our drivers have been working in the industry for a number of years with levels of experience not matched elsewhere.
Are Elliott Hire buildings ready assembled?
Elliott Hire buildings are factory produced to the highest standards and are delivered ready to use. Hirers will need to arrange for the connection of mains services to our building. Qualified tradesmen should carry out all work.
Can we buy the buildings we have agreed to hire?
Yes. All buildings are available to buy at any time. Contact the local Elliott Hire Area Office Manager who will arrange to issue a quotation.
We are working in an area prone to theft and vandalism. What can you do to help?
Elliott Hire products are designed and manufactured to deter theft and vandalism. Take a look on our Literature page and refer to our Secure Storage, Anti-Vandal range and E-Guard portable alarm systems.
What restrictions are there regarding the use of Elliott Hire secure containers?
Elliott Hire secure containers are available for the storage of general equipment. For the storage of special items such as chemicals, radioactive or notifiable goods, please contact your local Elliott Hire Area Office for further advice.
Are Elliott Hire products available to buy?
With several factories in the UK we have a large manufacturing capability to produce new buildings. Alternatively, at times we may have products for you to buy from our large fleet of previously hired buildings.
