More at home in their primary task of controlling the air space around war zones this AWAC aircraft at RAF Waddington, Lincolnshire was recently surrounded by hundreds of joggers raising funds for the Cancer Research 'Race for Life'.
On a cold Sunday morning ladies from Elliott Hire Torksey office began their 5k run around the air base spurred on with the promise of a barbecue and beer at the end of the race and achieving their aim of raising over £800 for the charity.
Elliott Hire staff have been involved for many years in raising thousands of pounds in charity events throughout the UK.
